Decent Family And Kids Friendly Hotel In Phuket ? |
Travel Info Hi . I am looking for a decent family and kids friendly hotel in Phuket for my visit in July. I am looking for following features in the hotel: a. Daily room rent for a twin beds room arround USD 50/=. b. Hotel to be near shopping & eating areas, and also near to beach. c. I would like internet ( preferably wireless ) to be available in rooms. d. As there will be 11 yrs and 6 yrs old kids along, so I am looking for such a place which have some entertainment for kids as well. Anyone have any recommendations? Your help is much appreciated. As I have heard that hotels in Patong ,situated on the road next to beach are much lower in price and just 5 mins walk to beach. Please comment. Further, how much does usually a taxi cost from Phuket Airport to a hotel in Patong area? Thanks Andrep Travel Tips The Holiday Inn in Phuket is actually nice. I think during high season it was $100 per night don't know about right now maybe less. It is located in the center close to the beach, restaurants and SHOPPING! The taxi from the airport to the hotel is from 200-400 baht or $10. There is a taxi pay schedule in the airport at the exit you will see the prices. Have a great time! :) Others How do you pronounce that city? I stay with my family every year @ BAHN SUKHOTHAI HOTEL on Bangla road, great hotel, great staff, great location and great for kids. Also very reasonably priced. the last time I stayed in Phuket, I took the family to an apartment in a complex through this company http://www.holiday-velvet.com/phuket... You get the security of a hotel but the size is alot larger and your money goes so much further. There are plenty alot the east coast especially arouns Surin Beach and Patong. |
