ooh..n i heard that ur Thailand Sale is going on now?? is the sale everywher in thailand?

And there is one Night Market but not that well known but i went last year but cant remember the name.. it's located near a river and its under the Bridge or something?

Travel Tips
I think the night market you are talking about is the Thieves Market which is between the river and Chinatown. The fruit and vegetable market is also nearby which is very colorful.

As you know, you can easily get from Thong Lo to Siam Square and MBK on the BTS probably in 15-20mins. For a taxi or tuk-tuk the journey time will depend on the traffic on Sukhumvit Road. Before about 4pm, if it was me, I'd use a taxi but after that I would definitely go on the BTS because the traffic gets really bad in the late-afternoon/early evening. If you get no traffic on Sukhumvit Road a taxi/tuk-tik could take just 10 mins but if you are in heavy traffic it could take an hour in a taxi but a tuk-tuk could make it quicker - but a lot of pollution you'd be driving through in an (open-air) tuk-tuk. BTS is clean and has nice cool air-con.

For the Theives Market. If you want to go by taxi/tuk-tuk the name of it in Thai is Nakhon Kasem. I would go by taxi because its boring to negotiate with tuk-tuk driver and there is no air-con but if you want to do it by tuk-tuk you must negotiate firmly with the driver before beginning the journey.

BY BTS is very convenient, take about 15 mins I guess. You will get a great city view at the BTS. The fare is very cheap, not more than 50 Baht approx.

BY tuk tuk or taxi, it will take longer, depends on what time you travelling. Try to avoid the rush hour 7-9 in the morning and 4-8 pm in the evening. You can try Tuk Tuk or Taxi when you see the traffic is quite good.

For the night market, I suggest Silom Road. Not far from Siam Square and you can use BTS too. The market will be fun from 7 pm till midnight approx.

It will be fun for you to buy fake watches, T - Shirt , souvenir stuffs and so on. Try street food along Silom Road. Yummy and cheap but you have to be careful on your stomack. We, Thai people are fine. But for you, you have to know how sensitive of your stomach. Welcome to Thailand
Live in Bangkok
it's not sale everywhere in thailand trust me lol, From Thong lor to siam square will take probably 15 mins....enjoy ur trip!
Take the sky train to the shopping areas and the night market on Silom/Patpong area. Use taxi's over TukTuk for air condigioning and better prrices . Be sure they use the meter.
