I am going to thailand in may for a honeymoon, any suggestion where to stay and what to do?

Travel Tips
Do not go to pattaya or phuket at any cost....its a tourist trap...filthy and over developed.I wasted my money there.Stay in bangkok for two days and see the Grand palace,Emerald buddha ,Jim Thompsons house,The discovery cetre aquarium(these two being walking distance away from the below mentioned motels) and the rose garden...stay at krit thai mansion or wendy house(just 950 bahts and clean a/c rooms)these motels are two minutes away from MBK and Tokyo the hip shopping centres.Book a flight from there with a local travel agency to koh samui and at koh samui stay at Chaweng cove resotel(2700 bahts)Spend three lazy days there and you may visit more temples and sights like the grandmama and grand papa rocks, the waterfalls, elephant trekking, coconut farms...with adorable monkeys as the workers there (and may get the beach to urself at night to fool around)For this ur hotel has brochures so yu can select any activity of ur choice and pace.Do get a thai massage and enjoy strolling around. Do go to Koh tao for a day snorkelling trip and then spend a day or two at koh nangyuan (It just has one privately owned resort(costs around 4500 bahts/day but is worth it...remember to stock some unperishable food because it has no shops and even coke costs earth if u buy it from the resort)but its worth it because the beach is fabulous...i mean FAB...pure white sand ,crystal clear water and hardly anyone around after 5.Head back to Koh samui spend a day again there and shop from here if yu wish.Go back to bangkok and if yu luckily schedule it so yu can coincide it with the weekend yu will get a superb deal at the weekend market!(yu can go there or any place thru the BTS train...) Hope yu have fun my hubby and i had a blast there on our honeymoon...the only downside being no one speaks or understands english there so that was a bit difficult...yu may contact the owner of wendy house motel there called wanee she was a lot of help. Source(s): Went there...did this(And i am not a marketing agent of any of the above mentioned)
Other Travel Tips
you must have a reason for selecting Thailand for your honeymoon. Was it the beach resorts your interested in, or the culture. I would recommend at least three to four days in Bangkok. Web site below gives you a few ideals what to do in Bangkok. The Grand Palace and Wat Po, Maybe the Rose Garden, or shopping at Siam Center or one of the open markets. As for beaches, Koh Samui, Krabi, Phuket, Khao Lak, Hua Hin, or even Pattaya are among the favorites of most tourist.
