What's the weather like in northern Thailand in August?

I'm going to Chiang Mai and up into the mountains of Chiang Dao in August. Is it going to be very wet? will it be chilly? Just wondering what clothes to pack! Thanks!

Rainy season in Chiangmai, but it does get warm too when the sky is not overcast. You can enjoy cool mornings in Chiang Dao, and nights too. May get hot in the daytime though, so I will recommend a light wind breaker with your summer clothes.
