How come the small icons at the bottom of the page answer international doesn't have flag for Thailand? |
Travel Info and Vietnam? I mean does Yahoo not know what a Thai and Vietnamese flags look like? Travel Tips You're right. Write to the Yahoo dudes and tell them. Others They are just racist, they feel threatened by countries they know can whoop their a s s. Yes they do, but when someone doesn't put a flag it means something. Thailand just had a coup and Vietnam is a Communist country. It's like when people refused to place Germany's new Swastika flag when it was adopted in the 1930s before WWII in their list of flags. It's a form of protest. Also they do not have the England flag,the cross of Saint George,so i guess they have a problem with ours. You're right about no Thai flag, but check out Indonesia, not only do they not have a flag, they misspelled Indonesia. You would think they would know how to use spell check. Do you really think there is some political motivation behind not having a flag? I don't, it's probably just an oversight. Well there's nothing wrong with the Thai flag except for now that they have just decided on a new Democracy. However, for Vietnam - on one side you have people from Vietnam using their flag and and those overseas who would push for them to remove it if it was used. If I am not wrong, those sites with flags denote that the country has a Yahoo Answer sntral site, like I started with Yahoo Answer Australia as that site has Yahoo Answer link, and Yahoo Answer Singapore site came on months later with Yahoo Answer Centre link subsequently. So the flags should stand for the Yahoo Answer centres in those countries. Thailand has no Yahoo Answer centre site yet. |
