Travel Info I'm going to bangkok and want to know the cheapest and easiest way to fly to phuket, which airline is best? Travel Tips Check the rates of the various airlines when you get there. The bummer is that the international airport in BKK is not the same airport that flys domestically. The old Don Muang airport is where you need to go to fly to Phuket. You'll need to catch a bus or taxi for the hour plus ride to Don Muang. Others check out the airasia they have a quite cheap price or if you're in Bangkok - have a look around you - so many local travel agent have a trip to phuket with reasonable price ;) www.airasia.com air Asia is the cheapest carrier and you book it your self on line. Prices change the closer you get to flight time. Read the tickets carefully. They are real strict on baggage weight and will stick you with big bills if your luggage is over weight. http://booking.airasia.com/skylights/cgi... the flight to Phuket is usually about 900 baht or $28 dollars. btdt I flew air air asia a few weeks ago and weren't totally impressed. It's alittle too cheap for my liking but you can try http://www.fly12go.com/en/main.shtml... who I've heard are better and just as cheap. If you're also looking for cheap accommodation try out http://www.holiday-velvet.com/phuket... I stayed with them for a few days and paid next to nothing for a great apartment near to Surin beach. http://www.bookingbuddy.com/ You can search ALL the major sites from there by typing your information just once. It check Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz .. it is very cool http://www.bookingbuddy.com/ |
