Taxi from bangkok airport to sukhumvit soi 5? |
Travel Info how much from airport to sukhumvit soi 5 at 8am on saturday morning Travel Tips If you are talking about the new Suvarnabhumi International Airport it will be around 225 to 250 baht, as I just did this last week. Then you need to add in 70 baht for the express way tolls so the total is more like 295 to 320 baht. The airport has reverted back to the actual meter cost plus 50 baht, and got rid of that flat fee rip off they used for a while. Most of the international flights come in late at night, so the airport is not very busy at 8:00 AM on a Saturday. Simply collect your luggage, exit through the B gate exit, which is on the second floor, and go down to the bottom floor either by escalator or elevator to get outside to the taxi queue. You cannot miss it. The taxi queue gives you a slip of paper with the taxi number and driver on it so nothing can go wrong at all. Sukhumvit Soi 5 and Sukhumvit in general at the time you will be traveling will have little to no traffic. If you ever get in the mood for some good western pancakes (100 baht), try Gullivers on Soi 5. Also have an excellent steak sandwich and thai food. The Nana BTS Skytrain is right there on Sukhumvit Soi 7, so you will only 2 two minutes walk away from the BTS. Good luck Source(s): Live in Thailand Other Travel Tips Pay no more than 50 Baht!!!!!!!!! I don't know for sure, but I've heard they've started a flat fare rate from the airport into the city for 500 baht, which if true is a rip-off. What I always do is to go up to the departure level, cross the street to where the taxis are dropping off departing passengers, and get one of those taxis. Not only do you not have to stand in line, you avoid the 50 baht airport surcharge. I live a bit closer to the airport than Soi 5 and always pay around 175 baht, I would guess Soi 5 would be another 50 baht more than that, so somewhere around 225 baht or so. There is no reason for your driver to take any tollways to get there, so that should be your final cost plus tip. don muang about 200 plus tolls( 40 bht about) suvarnabhumi(new one)expect about 400 bht When you take a public taxi from the airport, you will be charge for 50 baht more per trip from the original cost by the meter. If you are talking about Don Muang airport, the cost would be around 200 baht, on Saturday, there should not be that much traffic, the toll way or express way is not included. If you are coming from Suvarnabhumi airport, you have to take the express way twice, it cost 80 baht for the express way, and the taxi would be around 280 baht. approximately 200baht. In the airport, you must go down to the lower level to get the taxi and there will be a counter for you to purchase a ticket.Ignore and just say thank you to them for those people who approach you for taxi at 1st level that will cost you easily 600 to 800 baht. |
