elephants, buddha and old coins seem lucky or at least offer protection
My friend gave me an old coin with a picture of a three headed elephant on one side and an old king on the other(King Rama 3 I think).I had it made into a proper mounted necklace and nearly every Thai gives it the WOW and wants to buy it.
I am assured I am literally bullet proof when wearing it,though being slightly more cynical.I prefer more practical measures
If someone hands you any image of the buddha you should take it in both hands in a praying motion and raise it to your head,as though you are wei'ing a monk.Don't worry though if you forget.Thais wont think badly of you,but will be highly impressed if you do
Lotus is important and those flower petal garlands(forget the name) with orchids on hang from every rear view mirror in the country
Thais are very superstitious and the list is almost endless.
As someone else said those kitty ornaments with the swinging arm are very popular.I've seen them in chinese supermarkets for sale in uk
Others
Usually a teddy like the one in your picture.
Hello Kitty is also popular for some odd reason.

Anytyhing cutesy with a little good luck note attached is fine.
I would say amulets, usually enclosed in a glass type or plastic case with a gold or silver border and worn around the neck. Right now here in Thailand there is an almost frenzied craze over an amulet called Jatukam Ramathep, which many people believe have magical powers and will bring good fortune. Most amulets bear an image of Buddha or an especially revered monk, some are even thought to ward off bullets and violence. As far as good luck charms, amulets are by far the choice of the Thai people.
An elephant, but their hard to put on a chain and wear around your neck.
A kiss?
A small pocket sized image of Buddha. Very devout Buddhist in Thailand.
A large amount of western condoms.
