What is the weather like in Thailand in September?

Travel Tips
It's monsoon season in Thailand during September, so expect frequent heavy downpours of rain. The monsoon season came early this year so it might end early too, but don't count on it. If you want to do nothing but sunbathing, you might want to wait til December to March, which is the dryest, least hot season (and also the peak season for tourists). If you want to go backpacking and exploring in the country, the rain is not so much of a problem Source(s): Live in Bangkok

But it is tropical rain - so it will rain for a while then stops and the sun comes out and it will look like nothing has happened.
