Travel Tips
here u go. Its best to call UBC/Truevisions at 02-725-2525 they have english speaking operators dont worry... depending on their current promotions.. they usually have free installation, u just pay for the converter(cable) box at about 4,000baht and the monthly payment for their top package(PLATINUM) is 2,068 baht per month and one grade below that is GOLD with all the sports channels, movie channels, and CNN at 1,568 baht per month.

hope that helps.. Source(s): American living in Thailand 2 1/2 yrs and counting
Other Travel Tips
Just go to UBC office which is close to you!!! You have to pay monthly around 3000Baht(it depends on promotion). But you have to pay for the installation around 8000Baht or more I can't remember now!
yes you can have ubc in your home. the cost depends on the package deal you want. if you want english speaking movies and shows it can cost 1,500 to 2,000 baht a month. if you live outside of bangkok and need a dish, you have to buy the disk and receiver for about 7,500 baht plus installation. depends on promotion at the time.
You sure can, I've got it on in my house right now. If you're a football fan there are six sports stations that show football from all the different European, Asian and some South American Leagues. If you're talking about American football, they will normally show 3 or 4 games a week during the season and repeats all year long. Here's the website and pricing: http://www.truevisionstv.com/getubc/eng/...
By the way, it's no longer called UBC, it's now called TrueVisions, and you can get all the sports channels with the Gold Package.
Yes you can get UBC at your home but in my opinion's not worth the money you have to pay. Platinumpackage 2000 B/M = 24000 B/Year. For thr same money you can buy one satellite receiver + dish distar, psi or other all of them K-Band, Cu- Band anf you get many chanels for free.
