Travel Info What is the best way to go to Phi Phi Island from Phuket? Any hotel recommendations? Travel Tips The only way is by ferry. You can stop in at any travel kiosk and they can book it for you. Every place will have the same set price off 700 baht with open end return and hotel pick up and drop off. When I go out there, I always stay at Phi Phi Villa Resort. I've tried others, but this one is the best. It's on the end of the main tourist street, so you can have a bit of quiet and relax. The walk down to more bars is only 5 minutes. There is a great bar right across the street. Carpe Diem has dining on the beach sitting on cushions. Very friendly staff. If you choose this hotel, stay in a villa, not the standard room. It should be 1800 baht. When I was there 2 weeks ago, they had a stay 2 nights get one free. We stayed six days. Also, if you want to go on a day trip snorkeling on Phi Phi Ley island, those are a lot of fun. I used to live on Phuket, I just moved back to the US 2 weeks ago and we all loaded up for my going away party on Phi Phi. I had a blast, what a cool place. Enjoy your trip! Source(s): me :) Other Travel Tips There is a ferry out of the harbor near Phuket that goes to Kho Phi Phi then on to Krabi. It is about an hour to an hour and a half ride. As for hotels we stayed on one on the bay with a swimming pool and bar/restaurant. I'm sorry but the name slips by me. It was about $25 USD a night and was very comfortable. There are plenty of options while there. From hostels to rooms like I described above. Once you arrive to the harbor on Kho Phi Phi there will be many people who will try to get you to stay in their hotels and hostels and finding a place to stay will be no problem. Be sure to take the boat tour around the island and to take the stairs to the highest point on the island to see some of the most beautiful country you will ever see. Hoped this helped.
