How much money (american dollar) will i need to live comfortably in Thailand? |
Travel Info I have done the currency conversion rates on x-rates but I do not know how far the Thai Baht will take me Travel Tips decent apartments are available in bangkok, chaing mai, pattaya for around 300/400 american per month; you can get cheaper, as low as 100 american but you may not be happy with the facility; at 400, you will get @800sq ft (furnished if you want) with all the amenities; concerning food-if you eat at thai restaurants-12/day wil;l do; starbucks, mcdonalds, etc are generally the same price as us; as far as entertainment/tours-hard to say as i don't know your taste-so in conclusion-800 to 1000 per month would allow you to live very well in thailand. Enjoy! i have been all over thailand several times, my wife is thai and we always enjoy going there. Others I think it's about $7.35 ew, why would you want to live there. $100 per month or over is ok Well it depends on how long you will live there for and how much you spend. This is what you should ask also. not much, for sure I know a guy who retired there on $1,500 a month. As long as you don't need much medical attention it's enough. Of course, if you're out every night drinking and chasing women you'll need a lot more. |
