Bangkok - To Visit: - Wat Phra Kaew - Grand Palace - Wat Arun - Wimanmek Palace - Jim Thompson's House (should be more than enough for one day) Bangkok - To Shop and See - Suan Lum Night Bazaar - Joe Louise Traditional Thai Puppet Show @ Suan Lum Night Bazaar - Siam Paragon Chiang Mai - To Visit - Wat Phra That Doi Sutep - Any temples in the historic area....(I forgot their names but most of them are, like, 700 years old or more) - Chiang Mai Cultural Hall, near the 3 Kings Monument. Chiang Mai - To Shop - Chiang Mai Night Bazaar (night market) I'm a native Bangkokian, been to Chiang Mai several times. sorry but one day in each place isn't enough, your be in traffic half of that time. me I'll just say in Chiang Mai go see Doi Suthep and the temple that has all the monks you can chat with.
