Pricing in Phuket?

I am going to phuket at the end of the month, and just wanted to ask you guys how much things are in baht?
Like the price of drinks? food? Cocktails? Elephant ride? any water sport stuff? i have no idea how things cost over there...
also... shopping??

Travel Tips

Beer is 80-100 baht. Easy meals (chicken-rice, or noodles) are 200-400 baht per person. Shopping is cheap (t-shirts = 100 baht). Rides and touristy stuff will cost about 500-1200 baht for 1/2 day tours.

The thai baht is strong now - so be sure to check the exchange rate before you go - it may be at 34 baht=$1.

drinks and food are as cheap as chip about 200 bht,that alcohol.soft drings about 50bht.when it comes to the fun surf ski. paragliding and water sports about 500bht.but it is a lot of fun

I found that prices in Phuket are a little less expensive than prices in an Ameican city would be. But Phuket itself is very, very expensive compared to the rest of Thailand. It's well worth a visit, but choose your hostels, restaurants, and tourist activites carefully. If you're looking for a cheap flight from Bangkok to Phuket check out AirAsia...very cheap flight yet one of the best airlines I have ever been on. First come, first serve (quite like southwest) with seating and monks always get on first.
