Travel Info Hey, is the weekend market still opened? has it moved? i have been hearing rumors of it moving or not around anymore.. how can it be? i'm going Bangkok!!!! You may have heard some news about some people wrecking a few of the stalls in Chatuchak. And, only a VERY FEW stalls were damaged. Other news you may have heard about the rental of the land owned by Chatuchak's owners. Some rumors have been circulating that Chatuchak will not be in operation soon. But, rest assured, it's still operating. In fact you can now travel there by subway because they have built a stop just for the market! I hope my answer is helpful to you. Have fun in Thailand! Me, I live in Thailand and visit Chatuchak, and other markets, on a regular basis. Yes it is still open. Pls remember to go in light clothing. It is damn hot now. I was there just last week.
