Who else is happy that the government is actually enforcing immigration laws? |
Travel Info Does anyone else think that they should increase deportations? The illegals claim to want to work so much I really think we should pay them good money to build the wall protecting the border before we send them back. Call it severence pay. Travel Tips I'd be thrilled if the government were actually enforcing immigration laws, but they aren't! All they would have to do is to require all employers to vett their employees through the Social Security system and fine them if they don't, and the problem of illegal immigration would turn a mountain back into a molehill. We would not have to deport anyone, because those "hard workers" who come here for a buck and not out of a desire to be Americans would flee back across the border to Mexico on their own. But, see, this country is run by big business, the religious right, and politicians. Big business wants illegals because it's cheap labor so more profits for themselves; the religious right wants illegals because they are predominantly Catholics and Mormons (true!) who will fill their coffers; politicians want illegals because it's literally millions of potential voters for their side. We don't need walls; we need some frickin' balls! |
