Driving to Tijuana?

I'm going to Tijuana with some friends, and will be spending 2 nights there. Is my drivers liscence all I need to get me across the border? I've heard that I need a copy of my birth certificate.

I would suggest that you bring your birth certificate with you when crossing the border along with your drivers license.
