What's the best city to visit in Canada? |
Travel Info What's the best city to visit in Canada? Travel Tips Tough one... But ideally you want some place with a lot of geographical diversity (mountains, oceans, deserts, etc). So maybe either Newfoundland or Vancouver. Newfoundland is more off the beaten track and not as crowded. Lots of great nature and history. You could also fit in a side trip to Halifax. During the summer, Vancouver looks like an endless parade of touristas from all over the globe all trying to see the same sites and eat at the same restaurants. But there is a lot more activities there as well (if you have immense amounts of cash to do them). In the winter there is nothing but nonstop rain in Vancouver. In the end, it comes down to what type of vacation you prefer. I have traveled all across Canada. Email if you have any specific questions. ~D Others Toronto and Montreal Totonto and Ottawa. Probably Toronto, as we have quite a few tourist attractions. Though not now, it's cold right now. It's USUALLY warmed up by now, but this year's being mean to us. =( You might want sometime around Spring/Autumn. Anyways, Toronto - there's the CN Tower, Roger's Center, etc. etc. Besides, I'm jsut biased since I live here. =) I'm also well-traveled across Canada. If you're looking for sheer physical beauty, hot night spots, diversity in cultures and the great combo of mountain and ocean, B.C. is it - Vancouver has pretty much everything. If you can get to Vancouver Island, Tofino is georgeous but laid-back. Saskatoon!!!!! Yay baby, Saskatoon kicks a**! Live here!!! |
