Toronto and Calgary are not connected by passenger trains (which are generally expensive anyway). Bus fare is $346.70 for a one-way ticket from Calgary to Toronto. You can get a one-way flight for as low as $225 (including taxes and airport fees). The bus takes 2 days, the flight takes about 3.5 hours. The Toronto airport is quite far from the city (~$50 taxi fare) but public transportation is available as well... so you can actually get from the airport to downtown Toronto for $2.75 on the TTC. (But it's easier if you pack light.) Another way to get from Calgary to Toronto is to ride share or transport someone's vehicle for them. You might find these people on Craigslist.
