Is Toronto a good Cab town or should one rent a car? |
Travel Info We plan to stay downtown or in a good area where there are good restaurants, etc. However, do we need to rent a car or is there good cabs or subway?? I know cabs are the more expensive route but is Toronto a good cab town even into late, like 2 a.m.? Thanks. Travel Tips Toronto os a great place to be without a car. You can get anywhere on the TTC (toronto transit commision) and an all day pass is well worth the money ! And there are lots of cabs around late at night. We alway leave our car at home when we go downtown. Others hi there, toronto is great for cabs, especially after the subway closes. (so after 1am ish). a lot of hotels in toronto don't even come with parking. its better you don't rent a car. Enjoy your trip. Taxi for sure. Parking will put you in the poor house.
