What kind of things would a 16 year old student have to do if they work with Best Buy or Future Shop? |
Travel Info I'm planning on getting a job this summer, but I'm wondering what kind of duties or things would students be able to do when working in electronic stores such as best buy or future shop. And what is the average pay for this job? Travel Tips Most likely, stock the shelves when they get low, clean the floors, unload the shipments from the trucks. If you are good with customers or good in math, they may have you work the cash or handle the returns section. As for the pay, I would not expect more than minimum wage for a summer job at any department store or fast food chain. If you like jobs that are indoors, these are the jobs for you. If you don't mind manual labor and working outdoors, check with your city and see if they offer any summer positions. Many cities hire students for part time summer jobs to maintain the parks (lawn mowing, picking up litter, etc) or to monitor the playgrounds, draw the lines on the baseball diamonds, or public tennis courts, etc. Others My friend works at a best buy, and to tell you, it really isnt that great, like the last guy said, you just stock things, maybe work the cashier once in a while and mop the floor, but you do get big discounts on things they have for sale there |
