Travel Tips
There are only to small areas that are hot spots for violence in Toronto. The first is the Weston Rd. and Lawrence Ave. area and the second is Jamestown which is in the Martin grove and Albon Rd. area. Jamestown sees the most violence. Both areas have a large gang presence, and they seem to kill only each other with the exception of a few bystanders every once in a blue moon. There has been a couple of shootings in the downtown area in the past few years but again the targets were rival gang members.
Others
too many to say
Scarborough is the most dangerous area by far, there are also other areas that are dangerous such as pretty much the northern Jane strip. Sometimes it's Rexdale area. Rarely, it's Brampton.
Lost friend to violence and he lived in Brampton.
Regent Park is the scariest place I have been to.
Almost all of Queen St E is very scary, Moss Park to Regent Park is the most dangerous, personal experiences.
