Was in Toronto this time last year. it is awesome!! you should try the Elmocombo, called the Elmo by the locals. It has an amazing floor! uneven and dangerous! the place would be shut down for health and safety violations over here!! The stairs are dangerous when you've had a few too many!!
And if you are there in the next few weeks, you'll get the NXNE which is a festival of music full of great indie bands from all over the world!! I'd suggest you go for the wrist band?ticket that gets you into any venue over the full three nights, as it is definately worht it. I volunteered last year and met a few great bands from the UK!!
And sneaky d's is a great place for late night snacks, like nachos...and try canadian beer! it's good. I'm sure there are lots of great places i just cna't remember them all. The Horseshoe comes to mind, and the black bull.... hazy memories... Have a great time!!
