Can you camp overnight on toronto islands? |
Travel Info Hi, me and my friends would like to camp out somewhere on toronto islands. Is this allowed? If its not allowed do you think we'll be able to get away with it in the more remote parts? Travel Tips Not legally. But you can skinny-dip (legally). Source(s): http://www.toronto.ca/parks/island/... Other Travel Tips no you can't. Camping is not allowed on Toronto Islands u can try this The Rockwood Conservation Area is located only 15 minutes east of Guelph, Ontario, and it is in a great location for those of us living in southern Ontario. It takes only about 45 minutes to an hour to get there from the GTA (Toronto/Mississauga/Oakville) and is located in the small town of Rockwood. The price is right, and it is located near the town grocery store, so it is easy to run in to town for ice, drinks, or extra food. There is also a drive-in nearby, and a pool hall. The campground itself has sites with or without electricity, sites for campers, sites for tents/trailers, and even group sites. There are grass lots and forested sites with good privacy. All sites are just a short walk from a picnic area with a covered concession stand with tables, showers and bathrooms, miniature golf, a baseball diamond, and a playground. No and no. |
