What is the exact procedure for immigration to canada? |
Travel Info My husband is a canadian national.I want to join him. How long will the immigration procedure take and what are the requirements?I visited all the websites and links related to immigration to canada but they all confuse me.Kindly help me out. This is faster than "in country" paperwork after you get here. You can always get a visitor visa at the border and then start your paperwork. Get husband to sponsor you & your visitor visa will be good for 6 months. Come here now before they require a passport next year by car. Remember after your PR paperwork has been filed, you cannot leave the country until it's processed, usually 6-9 months. Bring a copy of your medical records, marriage certif.,divorce decree,educational certif,driver license abstract & driving history.
