Does anyone know of a place that will take obsolete or non-functional electronics, just for parts salvage?

Travel Info
I need this in Toronto or Durham, preferably East Toronto or Scarborough. Most of the components could be reused once the defective part is identified. I think it's ridiculous to fill up the landfill with things that can be recycled. I don't expect money for them.

Travel Tips
I did a Yahoo search in the YellowPages.ca page and found these recyclers.

I own a small business and do computer repairs and upgrades, one thing is, remove the harddrive and either use it as a slave in your new computer or either erase the info, or run a strong magnet acrossed it to scramble the info, if it gets into the wrong hands, I have had clients see the personal info on the net.
