Things to do in Toronto?

Travel Info
I'll be visiting Toronto in October and was wondering what some great, inexpensive things to do where around the city. This is my first time there so I want to get in all I can in the short 5 days I'll be there.

Not too touristy though. I know the CN tower is probably great, and things like that, but I want to take in what the city has to offer too locals as well, not just tourists.

Travel Tips
Toronto's downtown waterfront has much to offer. Visit Toronto Island Park you can spend an entire day there packed with activities on the cheap (even in October). It's only a 10 minute ferry ride from the harbor.

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is also a must see. I know U don't want to do anything too touristy but this place is unlike any other museum. Bring some sensible walking shoes and hit the pavement along Queen Street - It offers a diverse dining opportunity as well as many unique shops.

yeah, the CN tower is a good place, you can also see if there's anything going on in the Rogers Centre (used to be called the Sky Dome, which is a MUCH better name, don't you think?)
Ahhh, you best stick with the states man. Gets pretty boring in Canada. Best you bring a game console and waste the whole day playing. Or read. Dont forget america, IT FUCKIN Rocks!!!! So does Greece.
I kept myself pretty well occupied by just walking around. I also visited several museums. I highly recommend the Cocoberry Cafe, (49 Harbour Square). Best freakin breakfast ever. There will probably be a line but it is so worth it.
You can check out the Casa Loma. You can even take some pictures of that building. I have sent you a web site that you can check out. It has all of the attractions that you can do in Toronto.

It's a pity you're not coming in July or August when more attractions will be open. There's Canada's Wonderland, Wild Water Kingdom, African Lion Safari, Casa Loma, Niagara Falls, Playdium, Paintball -something for the whole family. This is also the time of the year for the Film Fest, Chin picnic/barbeque and fashion show, Ontaro Place, CNE, Bungee Jumping, Tightrope Competitions, Street Bands, The Toronto Symphony Orchestra,Taste of the Danforth Greek Festival, Trinidad's Carnival Street Party etc etc etc, (way too many to name) Lots of these events are free
