Travel Info was there a storm this past week or weekend that caused power outages in toronto, canada? thank u in advanced :) Travel Tips I live in Scarbrough no thing happend Others Nothing happened. there was a storm a few weeks ago and there was power outages and "tornado sightings" but that was further west. nothing in toronto. North and West of Toronto there were high winds which knocked down trees and left thousands of people without power overnight. Toronto itself was left unscathed. A significant storm caused damage to trees, power lines, and other fixtures in the northwestern peripheral suburbs. Storm damage was also present within city limits at the extreme north and west - the city centre was not affected. Not in Toronto although we got warnings. It past over us like a mild shower I thought. No, nothing has happened. It was raining yesterday, and a bit windy today, but other than that, its been sunny and warm :) |
