I've been living here for 20 years and people just gets worse every year. Everybody's conceited and concerned with themselves and themselves only with little to zero regard for others. And when something happens to them, they're always quick to blame others; never their own fault. Remember, kids, like drugs, say "no" to Toronto. Oh, and I just remembered another thing. People always complain about gas prices and how friggin' hot it is in the summer and the odd warmth in the winter. And yet, I see people idling their SUVs with the A/C outside malls or grocery stores, waiting for whoever. Here's an idea: get your fat-as$ inside the building with air conditioning. Or the same people who leaves the lights on when they leave the room for over an hour. You'll be saving gas, energy, and won't pollute the air we all breathe...selfish, idiotic bastards. Okay, I think I'm done...lol Others Toronto is a bit intimidating. People there can be a little cool to strangers. Still, if you can find a way to connect they can be very nice. For example, if you have a dog (or can borrow one to take for walks) people will talk to you. If you attend a church, often there are different social groups associated with it that you can join. If you have time, you can also do volunteer work. Most people socialise with their co-workers or fellow students. Good luck! Visit Bars, Clubs and resturants specially on the weekends best of luck pick a local pub, sit at the bar, strike up a conversation with the locals and make friends. The local watering hole is always a good place |
