What should I do in Toronto on New Year's Eve?

Travel Info
I know that there are a lot of clubs and bars that have special New Year's Eve parties. Most of them are pretty expensive though, charging $30 or more per ticket just to get in. Other than that, I know that there's Nathan Phillips Square, which is free. Are there any other free/inexpensive options for celebrating New Year's in Toronto? Everyone in my group is 19, by the way, so any 19+ ideas are welcome.

Travel Tips
I know Ontario place has an awesome fireworks display, you can even go early in the day and catch a movie at the I-MAX. Nathan Phillips Square is a great time! Dress warm if you go, but there is lots of music and fun stuff to listen to. Harbourfront always has a lot of music playing, there are a lot of bars and you can see the fireworks from there too. One year my friends and I chipped in and bought our own fireworks and went to a huge park and had a good time of our own. And check out some of the hotels, some are cheaper than others, even if its not downtown, if you gather some friends and everyone chips in, you can get some drinks at the bar and hang out. good luck!

Others
I can only think of Nathan Philips Square and the fireworks and the whole party thing.
i really like having a party at a hotel with all my friends and we all pitch in and it's really cheap.
Stay home and relax for New Years. I never go out for New Year's Party. Better off staying safe at home than taking the risk of getting drunk behind the wheel.

That's my suggestion to you.
Don't know if you are from TO. or not. if not, chip your expenses together and come for a little trip to Niagara Falls New Years-eve. Big Party. playing are,"FOREIGNER",COLIN JAMES,JUSTIN HINES.Get dressed warm, we are expecting like every year 10 to 13 thousand people. Always good party .
