What are some nice inexpensive hotels in Toronto? |
Travel Info Close to the city center. Travel Tips http://properties.a1-discount-hotels.com... The Comfort Inn on Charles and Jarvis is about the least expensive. I've stayed there, it's clean, underground parking, no restaurant but you're downtown - couple minute walk to the Eaton Centre. Only complaint I had was it was across the street from Second City comedy club and when it closed the drunks were noisy for about 15 minutes. Don't walk north on Jarvis unless you want to fight off the hookers. Others You could try Priceline.com and bid. Before doing that, go to BiddingforTravel.com and check the list of hotels to see which ones you would be comfortable using. (Any of the 2.5 star and above look fine to me.) To see review of hotels you can check TripAdvisor.com. the Days Inn on King and Roncensvelles, I had a room there in September a single for under $70, doubles go for under $90 The Holiday Inn on King rocks! It is only a little pricey, but worth it for the location; it's just south of Queen street, and just a couple of blocks from the CN tower! |
