When does the skating rink at city hall in toronto open???

i wanted to go there on dec. 30th but the weather has been so crappy, is it still open? or when does it open

Nathan Phillips rink has been open at least a week. They did a special broadcast of CTV news from there a week ago. People were on their blades. It has it's own refrigeration system under the fountain pond , just like a normal ice rink. It's not too hard for them to keep ice on it. I just dug up the info on that rink. It's been open since Nov 25.

It's open now, I believe.
The rink opens as soon as it's cold enough for ice.... it's been mild here so you may want to check it's open now.
