Comparing london and toronto?

I live in London, but have family with whom I have stayed in Toronto. Both have their good and bad points but what I will say about London is that it is very very very expensive and so can be quite a difficult place to live for that reason alone. In terms of history museums theatres etc, there are very few places like it. Toronto on the other hand is much cheaper and cleaner than London but not as varied. If you dont mind living in a shoebox for a minium of the equivalent of $900-1000 US dollars a month on rent for a room then go for london, but if you want a decent standard of living and do not earn Bill Gates wages avoid London like the plague.

London has class, style, tradition and Toronto is just an average city
Toronto, tho much smaller, is a MUCH nicer town. Of course, it gets colder in Canada than in the UK, but unless you enjoy drunken, chain-smoking, lazy, self-centred louts who care only about themselves, I would avoid London at all costs.
Toronto is cleaner, much safer, easier to drive through (hard to believe) and more polite with fewer immigrants (again I know this is hard to believe). London is, however, more exciting. Other British cities are far better than London, though, with lots of the advantages and fewer of the bad side. Try Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Liverpool - all have better nightlife than London by far.
I ve been to Toronto and it was a very clean and vast Lovely view from the tower .London is a very active city .Depends what you like.Any city can be violent .My relations live in New York and they say its no more violent than any where else.
good question. i am considering moving to Canada myself. i love London tho. but it seems lifestyle is deteriorating.

Toronto is the best city if your looking for space, better lifestyle, cleanliness, very low crime rate etc etc and the traffic is not to bad either, but it does get very cold in the winter, but overall i would pick Toronto any time and I'm a Londoner!!!!!!!!
