Travel Tips
Why would you want to move to Toronto? I've been here for almost 20 years and the people are getting worse and worse by the day. A 20 minute drive to work and you can get into 3-4 potential accidents because people here are too stupid to be courteous to others and are so into themselves talking on their cell phones. And the shopping here? Forget about it. People won't give you a second look if they accidentally bump into you. And here's further evidence of our stupidity. Other Travel Tips
Actually, it's not too bad. Average. You'll be fine, there's not to many bad areas in Toronto.

I would avoid Jane & Finch; Jane & Lawrence; Tapscott & Finch or anything near John Garland. And they're not even that bad really.

Welcome to Toronto!
Anthroits has explained u well, its over all very safe to live i wana inform u about one more Grey area in downtown toronto which is Gerrrard and Jarvis
Best of luck
Great family neighborhood. Excellent housing market and community centers. Close to transit and shopping. Make your first stop at "Wolfies Deli) on Sheppard and pick yourself up one of the best smoked meat sandwiches in the city.
Codsell is in the "Bathurst Manor" area of North York. The closest major intersection is Bathurst and Sheppard. It's a "suburban" type of area but not far from "downtown North York". Bathurst is one major street west of Yonge Street which is the major artery of Toronto.

It's a nice area. Most of the homes were probably built in the early 1960's.

There's a decent strip plaza at that corner with large grocery store, banks, Dairy Queen, super bagel bakery (Bagel Plus - try the cheese Danish - YUM) and many other stores.

It's close to public transportation (buses and subway) and just a quick car ride to one of the city's biggest shopping malls - Yorkdale.

Codsell itself has many single family residences (depending on which end of the street). It's definitely o.k.
