Personally, I love the museums, art galleries and opera - but you might be an amusement park kind of person. How old are you? Are you bringing children with you? What time of year? Add some details and I will give you a whole list of great places to go and things to do! Visit the CN Tower, and have a meal at the restaurant they have at the top. If you are going in summer, go to Canada's Wonderland which is a huge amusment park (it used to be owned by Paramount parks, but Cedar Point bought it), There is also Ontario Place, which is a water park in the marina and it has good views of the city skyline and a cool IMAX theatre. For expensive shopping, go to Bloor St, it's got Gucci, Louis Vuitton and all that stuff, and there is also Yorkdale which is a high end shopping mall. Eaton center is in downtown Toronto, and is a 3 story mall, but the stores are crappy. If you like musuems visit the ROM (Royal Ontario Musuem) and the Ontario Science Center. Stay away from Scarborough and Jane & Finch areas at night (and day, but especialyl at night) because it's a dangerous part of the city, it's like the Bronx. - Hope this helps! 1. CN Tower 2. Bata Shoe Museum (sounds weird but they have some cool stuff there, including Napoleon's shoes) 10. St James' Cathedral (built in 1797 and a sister of Westminster Abbey's in London, U.K.) 11. Yonge Street (Eaton Centre, plus all the shops) 12. Queen Street West 13. Yorkville (mostly for REALLY expensive shopping and Snob-Spotting) 14. Princess of Wales Theatre (one of the Big Three Theatres on Earth - the others being in New York and London) 15. Bloor Street And those are just 15 off the top of my head. Plus, there are loads of great restaurants, nightclubs, bars, and tons of historic pubs in Toronto as well. And, like the fellow above me said, stay clear of Scarborough and Jane & Finch and you won't have a problem ... and no worries, you won't accidently stumble into either of these areas unless you specifically go looking for them, Have fun! Paramounts canada wonderland is not to far away.the cn tower. maple leaf gardens , the rogers centre, the air canada centre. black creek pioneer village .younge street. eaton centre and subway and underground system. but i dont live there so why am i answering To see and experience all that is Toronto, you should try the Art Gallery of Ontario, the CN Tower, the Rogers Centre, Harbourfront, the Distillery District, Casa Loma, and plenty of the neighborhoods from Kensington Market and Chinatown to Little Italy and Yorkville.
