Travel Info 19th Mar 2007 - Atlantic City to Niagara Falls 2 nites 21st Mar 2007 - Niagara Falls - Buffalo (shopping) 22nd Mar 2007- Toronto CIty 23rd Mar 2007 - Toronto - New York - on the way can we go syrancese? Rochester? 24th Mar 2007 - New York City sights 1/2 day - Newark Airport Who Can provide this tour with about 12 people? Travel Tips I agree with illybubs. You are trying to fit far to much into a short period of time. I don't think you realize the distance you will be travelling daily. And in March you have a good chance of being stuck in traffic because of snow storms. You should probably rethink this trip. Others i'm from toronto and have traveled frequently to the areas you mentionned. i really do not know of a tour group that will do this for you. you can contact a travel agency or the ontario tourism board to see if they can recommend someone for you. having said that, you squeezed far too much into such a short period of time. the reason is beacause you will need two hours to get to toronto from niagara falls not to mention hotel check in time and time to settle in. my suggestions are the following: if you are from the states, don't bother going shopping in buffalo. they have great deals for us canadians but compared to other parts of the states, it is not that great. if yu can scrape that then you have just given yourself some more time. i wonder why you plan two days in niagara falls? it is really small and you can see most of it in less than a full day. the only reason to spend so much time there is to enjoy the casino. i would recommend you split your day in half so you can enjoy niagara on the lake during the day, it is a very quaint town near niagara falls in the middle of the wine region. you can do wine tours there. it is very picturesque and worth seeing. then enjoy the evening in niagara falls and catch the light show. as a group of twelve, you can catch a tour of the region that includes both destinations. you will want to spend more time in toronto. toronto has everything. great sightseeing, incredible shopping, theatre, wonderful restaurants, nightlife, culture. toronto is a very tourist friendly city in that you can walk every where in the downtown core and we have an incredible subway system that is the safest in the world. you will only get a tiny glimpse of the city if you are here for two days. the drive to new york city is very long...approx. 10 hours. in such a short time frame, i strongly suggest you fly. you may be able to take the ferry from downtown toronto to rochester and fly from rochester. i'm sure in a group of 12 you will get a discount. i do suggest you try to spend as much time in toronto as possible since it is probably the most multicultural city in the world. we really do have everything. Your itinerary is unrealistic. I don't know about the Atlantic City to Niagara Falls part. Spending only one day in Toronto doesn't sound great. Toronto to New York will be a very long drive. I've driven to Kingston and on to Syracuse where we caught the Amtrak train into New York. I cannot believe you would only want to spend a half day in New York. I suggest you make some decisions about what you want to see? Niagara Falls and Toronto or Atlantic City and New York. There's an Ontario tour company that might be able to help you out with your tour. You could try contacting them: www.geocities.com/marymortonto... Niagara Falls is fairly expensive and not really worth seeing for two days. If you do go, I would recommend the Maid of the Mist (although it might be chilly in March) and visiting Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls, and then taking a trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake and seeing the historical sites - if you are going with adults. This is one of the largest and firmly established charter companies in North America. http://www.coachcanada.com/ Each group has certain requirements, and keeping this in mind helps to ensure everyone's satisfaction. Here's a list of questions to consider before contact our sales staff: What type and size vehicle will you need? How many people will be traveling? What level of luxury or additional equipment will you need or desire? What is your travel itinerary? Who will be your contact for your group's charter needs? Will special accommodations need to be made for the driver on overnight trips? Will more than one driver be needed because of the length of the trip? Which is more important: luxury or price? They provide a list of tips for chartering http://www.coachcanada.com/info/coachcan... |
