What's the distance between Toronto and Montreal, and which kind of transportation is better to run this? |
Travel Info Bus, train, etc Travel Tips Its roughly around 550 kilometers. If you like to drive, then its about 5 hours, depending on traffic and weather. You could opt and take the train. Nice way to relax and see the countryside. The bus really sucks, but its cheaper. If you like to fly, thats the faster way and it can be cheaper than taking the train. Others It is about 550 kilometers. There are planes, trains and buses. I have driven and also have taken the train. The train is a nice ride. You get time to relax and look around. About 500 klicks....take the Rapido train. (Via rail) i don't know about the train, but it takes 6 hours by greyhound bus. it is a 5 1/2 hour drive to montreal from toronto. i prefer to take the express train as it leaves from union station downtown and arrives in downtown montreal. the express train is 4 hours which works out faster than flying considering time to get to and from airport and waiting time. the bus takes a lot longer but is much cheaper. if you buy the train ticket 7 days in advance, it is cheaper. U can check on Viarail .ca canada coach greyhound and i know there is a Van service from Missisauga On to Montreal twice a day choose which ever is convinent have a nice trip |
