I want to meet someone who is connecting at Toronto Pearson T1 from Ottawa to Barbados, where is a good spot? |
Travel Info So, basically, they are arriving at Pearson from Ottawa in Terminal One to connect to Barbados also out of Terminal One....where can I meet them along the way to give them something to take in their carry on to Barbados? Travel Tips Passengers transferring from a flight arriving at Terminal 1 to an international flight in Terminal 1 no longer have to leave the gate area. Those whom you want to meet may not leave the gate area (as it has everything they need there.) Or they may! I suggest that you talk to them beforehand and find out if they plan to leave the gate area once they arrive from Ottawa, and then go back through security and customs to get to their gate. If that's the case, you can meet them on the arrivals level. Others Find out which gate that particular flight arrives from (Domestic Arrivals) and then meet them at that gate. That person would have to leave the secure area, and meet you, and then line back up to check in and go through security again. I doubt that the airport people will permit it. When people are connecting, they go through the terminal from within, they don't come out into public areas. Probably for a reason.....like so they don't carrry on strange packages that have't gone through customs/security checks? :p |
