Travel Tips
Unfortunately for you, I think University of Toronto is the best school to go to. It depends on what your major is, that determines how hard and how much studying you'll do. Do if you go to business in U of T, I gaurentee you, you'll have less work, and study less than if you went to Schulich at York.

U of T is nice, it's more fun than York
great transportation and friendly ppl.

Ryerson is good too, but doesn't have the reputation and prestige that U of T has.

Really, take a tour of U of T, at least give it a chance if you're gonna stay in Toronto for sure.

Buuuuuuutttttt, if you can go anywhere for school and want a fun, environment, friendly ppl, have a great rep, but people know how to party, then there's two schools for you...

University of Western Ontario - great business program, great rep, lots of other good programs, apparently the 3rd best party school in North America

WIlfrid Laurier University - I am an alumni, second best party school in Canada, great rep, great students, soooooo much fun. When ppl need to study, they do...but here's my basic schedule when I went to WLU...

Monday - some classes, some studying
Tuesday - Party's at Phil's
Wednesday - Partying at The Turrent
Thursday - Party at Fed Hall
Friday - Party at Revolutions
Saturday - Party at Elements
Sunday - maybe relax, maybe more partying

I am not even exaggerating, this is how it is EVERY week at WLU, and it's a great school, check it out!!!

Others
Ryerson is good for nursing. York is the only other one in TO.
i go to york. it's not bad, but its in a kinda isolated area. the only other one other than university of toronto is guelph-humber, which isn't in a great area. york and guelph humber are pretty good for the arts, psycology, journalism, etc...but for sciences, university of toronto is best
There are only two Universities in Toronto.
University of Toronto and York University. Yes you are correct about UofT. It is very difficult to get into UofT, You will need very high grades. Too much competion. York is much easier to get into. Also York gives much more scholarships than UofT.

There is one other University that no one has mentioned as of yet to you. It is called Queens University. It is located in Kingston, Ontario it is around 2 and half hours east of Toronto. One of the best Universities in Ontario. One of the best reputations around. There is around 60 thousand students in that school. Only the first year students can get residence over there, then you will have to find some where to live in Kingston. Graet town, around 170 thousand population. Not bad for a small town. I suggest you look into this Univeristy. Also difficult to get into, need high marks!!

Good Luck
