I'm going to Canada soon(Toronto) and I'm planning on bringing back some local beers? |
Travel Info I'm over 21 but my gf is 20(ok for legal drinking age there) but will U.S. customs give me any hassle on bringing it back with her not of legal age in the states? Travel Tips I should say no, as long as your of age, and you declare them, then they won't stop you. Others Hey! If you do come don't for get to check out Kensington market . The area is down town between Spadina and College and Spadina & Dundas to the west one block but once you in the area you can ask for directions. Also if you want a great cup of coffee go to Moon Bean cafe great coffee and if your hungry when you walk out of moon bean make a right I think it's called Kensington street but It's the only street to the right go to the top of the block to European Meats and they have great prices on food. You can bring in your quota of beer. She cannot bring back any. No, there shouldn't be any hassle for just having a minor in the car. Creemore is yummy. Sleeman's is easy to drink. Moosehead used to be good but only tastes good in the Maritimes where it was born. The stuff we get in Toronto is a bit sulphury. Steamwhisle is Torontonian... (and very similar to American beer, too light.) I have Irish friends who really like the old standard Molson Canadian and sneak it home to Ireland. Kokanee (West Coast) is swill. Bring back Canadian, Blue, Steamwhistle, Creemore Springs and if you can get any Robert Simpson pick that up too If you declare that beer as yours, you should be fine. i dont know how much beer you can take back to the usa . you should just stop at the border on the usa side and ask them it has something to do with how long you stay i think . but get some cremore springs beer. |
