I am taking a business trip to Toronto in early June with my mom. Any must sees or must do's for extra day?

Travel Info
Business trip with mom, a seminar over friday saturday and sunday, we leave wednesday and come home sunday. we have thursday free, what to do? I would love to visit any landmarks (I'm a shutterbug) and I've never been up there. Are there any tours that are worth taking? I think we will also have friday and saturday evening to roam, but I'm not sure. And also, what's a girl to wear in June in Toronto?

Travel Tips
June in Toronto can be pretty chilly, so long pants and a sweater and spring jacket are a good idea. It can get warm enough for a t-shirt from time to time but not much warmer than that. Of course you can buy anything you forgot at home.

Some of my favorite landmarks to visit:

Casa Loma (a renovated castle downtown, indoor only, good for rainy day visit)

Metro Toronto Zoo (mostly outdoors, lots of walking, one of the best zoos in the world)

Ontario Science Center (a huge hands-on fun science museum, all indoors, good for rainy day visit)

CN Tower (all indoors, good for people who aren't afraid of heights, take the elevetor up and look over the city)

Harborfront, Queen's Quay, Toronto Islands (lakefront walking and shopping, you can take a ferry over to the islands one of which has an amusement park, a lot of walking trails)

Niagara Falls (not in Toronto itself but a 2 hr drive, one of the world's great wonders, lots of outdoor walking)

Chinatown, Kensington Market (downtown several blocks of mostly Chinese shops and outdoor markets)

There are more than that but these are my favorites.

Chinatown.
Firstly, early-welcome to Toronto!
The city doesn't boast too much to see in terms of historical or significant sights, but there's a great culture and ambience in the city at night! Depending on where you're staying, an evening stroll through the city core can be very nice! If you haven't been to Niagra Falls, that is just an hour and change away and a must see!

A few things that lots of people usually visit are:
- The CN Tower
- Skydome
- Casaloma
- Bata Shoe Museum (history of shoes dating back over 4500 years!)
and there are quite a few othere museums as well

Here is a website that would give you all the options! http://www.tripadvisor.com/attractions-g...

Have a good trip! Enjoy your stay!
The CN tower is really neat, on a good day the view is phenominal!
There is the royal ontario museam which will have a brand spanking new wing at that point.

There is also the art galler of Ontario which hosts a number of travelling dispays

There are always theatre productions and art exhibits going on, there is always live music, and entertainment.

There are many many things to do in Toronto. I have lived there all my life and still find new things to do everyday.

Check out Toronto life for ideas on where to eat and what to do!

Casa Loma is a must....Centre Island ferry....Parliament Bldg up Avenue Rd.....walk around Eglington & Avenue Rd. (my old neighborhood)....Yorkville, Chinatown, St. Lawrence Market is cool...ooops, you're out of time.....wear what you'd wear in any large city....Toronto is the NYC of Canada.
Yes the CN Tower, you can,t miss it. It is the highest free standing structure in the world. (A pun)

Enjoy your trip!
