Thornhill to Davisville, Downtown - very confused?

Hey guys, i am new to canada and want to find out if someone knows the best route from Thornhill - Hwy 7 and leslie to Yongue and davisville. Currently i am changing 2 buses and a subway. Do not direct me to the TTC website as that is very confusing.

viva to bus terminal at yonge and hwy 7 then viva or bus#99 to finch station then subway, i think that is already what you are doing, this is the only way

Either as the first person said or get to the McCowan LRT, go south to Kennedy and acrossed to Yonge, Davisville is 4 stops north, and your indoors all the way.
