Plg to live in Toronta for 3 months, so let me know a good place so that normal day to day shopping can be done and also access to public transport.

Depends how much money you're thinking of spending..... if downtown TO .. here's the price range... and there's supermarket almost in every corner in toronto... either the west end, east end, north or south..... public transport is everywhere too and very reliable-cheap too.

There are so many place in Toronto. You can check www.ttc.ca (thats the subway system). Then you can check www.torontosun.com & look under classified ads. Most ads will tell you if the apartment is close to the subway line. But any intersection close to Yonge Street is good!
Geesh....those prices are ridiculous...there are WAY cheaper places than that furnished...try ( www.viewit.ca ) or a similar site....

as for the subway anywhere along the yonge-university or bloor-danforth line is good - generally, the farther out from the core you go the cheaper it gets....follow the TTC system map when apartment hunting... http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/schedules/inde...
Stay on the subway route for sure!!!!
