Need to know the best from the Royal York Toronto, to Parkside/High Park, back down to the Docks via TTC.?

Travel Info
OK, I am new to Toronto and am looking at apartments as well as attending job interviews in two days time. I am starting out at the Royal York, then need to get to Parkside/High Park via public transportation. From there I need to make it all the way down to the Docks for another interview. Can anyone help me out with the best/easiest routes to take?
Thank you!

Travel Tips
Take the Subway. You can get on at Union Station without going outdoors from your hotel.
1. Take any subway train from Union -- they all go north.
2. When you reach either Bloor or St George station, get off the subway and go downstairs to get on another subway train. This time you have to choose a train going west ... toward Kipling station.
3. Parkside Drive is beside High Park (a very big urban forest/park) and is accessed from Keele subway station. However, there are almost no businesses in that area, so be sure you're getting off at the right stop. Google-map the address ... you can get off a Keele station; High Park station; Runnymede station; Jane station ... or, east of Keele, there's Dundas West station. All are in the area, but about a 10 min walk apart.

3. When you need to leave the High Park Area, get back into the subway system -- get a transfer from the machine -- and get on a train going east toward Kennedy.
4. Exit this train at St George Station and get on a train going south.
5. Exit this train at Union Station and walk up to Front Street -- you should be across the street from your hotel. Facing your hotel, walk right to Bay Street. At this corner, catch the 172 bus and pay with your transfer. Ask the driver to let you out at the closest stop for The Docks nightclub ... it should be a 5 minute walk down Cherry Street and on the right. Look for the driving range.

The Docks is aptly named; the club is relatively safe, but the area is sketchy at night. If you're coming after 7:00 pm, catch a taxi outside Union Station and pay about $12-$15 to feel safe. Source(s): www.ttc.ca
