To work in Canada you need to be a citizen, permanent resident or be sponsored for a temporary work permit. You need to do some research and see if there are any other options that might match up with what you are trying to do. If you are trying to get sponsored by a company, ie they apply for a temporary work permit for you, then two years of college is probably not enough. Even a masters degree is probably not enough, as the company has to go through a lot of steps and expense and demonstrate there are no Canadians available for the job or you skill set is unique. If you are really interested, I would say you would have to talk to an immigration attorney or consultant in Canada, and you have to be prepared to spend money on the process. Why not try a student exchange program for a year? That may be a better way to get your foot in the door. Yes, there are many fast food chains, and gas stations hiring those with only a couple of years of college. |
