How to get G1 Ontario driver's license? |
Travel Info I looked through their website but it is unclear. I understood that the driving classes are only recommended but not necessary, right? Also my biggest question is what test am I going to take, is it just the rules test, or is the driving test too? (to get G1) I need more details of how I get the G1. Travel Tips to get the G1, all you have to do is go to a drivers license centre and do a written test they will also give you a vision test on the spot, i think it is about $125 to do the test but that covers everything the only other fee after that is the G2 exit which is $75, the G1 is a road rules and signs test no driving, about 40 questions 20 on road rules and 20 on signs,as far as taking driving classes you don't have to but if you don't you have to wait 12 months before you can do the first driving test for the class G2 whereas if you take the classes you only wait 8 months.read the book and you will be fine, to do the test don forget to bring I.D, good luck! Others Visit http://www.drivetest.ca/en/license... for a detailed inofrmation. To summarise U can get G1 lisc by apperaing in written exam at any drive test centre no appointment required.. If u have a home country liscence take that with u . they will add the experience which will allow u an early date for next est G2 after passing G1 u can get G2 this will be within city test mainly focused on Obeying speed limit,Parralel parking , Stop sign and following the trafic signs etc.(Appointment required) G once u passed u have to appear for g liscence this will include above and High way test as well mainly foucesd on entering and exit on highways, Following speed signs etc (Appointemnt required) best of luck To get a G1 you have to take (and pass) the written test. |
