Travel Info Looking for an affordable place to stay near '360 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M5G 1S4' American consulate Travel Tips There r few palces around but i will suggest visit www.toronto.com and pick one of ur choice all the best Others Sheraton Centre is about 2 blocks away from U.S Consulate. You can stay at my Mom's house. You'll have to put up with 6:30 rise and shine, listening to her vacuuming a spotless carpet because "it might have dust on it" at 7 in the morning, her running after you to get your clothes so she can do a laundry, and the constant cheerful blabbing blabbing blabbing about absolutely nothing all day long. Its free. There is a hotel about a block east of the consulate that is probably the closest hotel to it. You just walk to from the lobby a block and you will be at the consulate. The hotel actually was a Holiday Inn at one time. Now it is a residence for the University of Toronto and it becomes a discount hotel after the school season ends. It bills itself as a "Summer University Residence Economy with Hotel Quality". There are summer students staying and studying here so there are rules and regulations regarding this. Hotel rooms are available from May-Aug Rates are listed at $89/night single parking is extra I think. http://www.89chestnut.com/accommodation/...
