How do you get to York University using the ttc from downtown Toronto? |
Travel Info I've looked on the york site and ttc site no clear directions Travel Tips Below is the quickest way. Take the subway north to either Sheppard Station on the Yonge Line or Downsview on the University/Spadina Line. (depending on where you are coming from downtown, I think it's faster to to Downsview. You save the bus ride from Yonge to The Allen). Then take the York University Express North (the Rocket). As you can see it only make a few stops. At Bathurst, Downsview Station, Finch and Sentinel and then it goes right into the campus. PS So where were you going from downtown? and was it quick from Downsview? Source(s): http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/schedules/inde... Other Travel Tips Hey...i came from pretty much the eaton's centre lol...yonge and queen...it took me about an 1hr and 20 mins...thanks for your answer! get a map and run times from ttc pay booth, thats the best answer i can give , sorry From downtown Toronto take the subway north on the Yonge line and get off at the end of the line - Finch Station. Proceed to the bus bays and take the Steeles bus to the university. From what it says below, I would recommend the 60C or F. The following bus information is from the TTC website: Steeles West 60B This bus service connects the Finch Subway station with the northern boundary of the campus and runs as far west as Martingrove. Steeles West 60C and 60F These bus services connect to Finch Subway station and travel to and through the northeast part of the York Keele campus. like soozann said or go to keele subway station and take the #41 bus this way takes a little more time but the bus actually drives through the campus grounds. good luck |
