Travel Info Is 2007, finally, the Year of the Mets? I was so psyched all year last year, only to have my hopes dashed by those pesky red birds in the post-season. Can we make them into "shredded tweet" this year? Travel Tips This is the year of the NY METS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are going to win the whole thing. My heart was broken last year when Beltran took that strike 3 call but no more heart break for Mets fans. 2007 World Champions New York Mets!! Were bringing back to Shea, back to Flushing! Mets fan for life!! Others Mets suck. Last year was there best chance to win it all and they blew it. Pedro will break down as usual, Glavine's age will catch up with him, and Beltran will strike out looking in a big spot again. Go Yankees! I grew up a Mets fan (because only a bum could be a Yankees fan), but have moved on because I've lived in Houston for the past three decades. I hate to tell you, but this will be the Astros' year... again, better than '05, though. I would, however, love to see the 'Stros and the Mets in the playoffs! That would make the kid in me happy, and make the adult in me happy, too! |
