Do they have any late buccoo reef/nylon pool tours? |
Travel Info I'm flying into trinidad on a midnight flight and then after I get myself settled, I'm gonna head to Tobago that same mourning. I'm mainly going to tobago to go see buccoo reef and nylon pool and i'll only have that one day free. The problem is, I can't find a later tour time than 10:30 and by the time I get in to Trinidad get myself settled then go back to the airport, fly to Tobago and check into the hotel I think it would be cutting VERY close if not impossible to get the 10:30 tour. Is there are later tour than that? I've looked on every website I can find, but the only one i can get are the one's starting at 10:30. Please help- i'm going down to celebrate my 21st birthday and taking the tour would just be a bonus :) Travel Tips I am from Trinidad. "Negotiate" with the boat owners. As long as they like your offer, they will take you. Remember it's $6TT per $1US. So what seems to be a lot of money for the locals may just be pocket change for you. Others When you get to Tobago, check the boat owners at Store Bay (a beach just a walk from the airport) they actually go out after that time. I have seen them arrange a trip up to about 2pm in the afternoon. Enjoy your birthday! when I went last year, there was a 1:00 tour, that left from Pigeon Point. Depending on where you live that might be hard to catch too. The tours are based on the tide. Around 10:30 it is generally low tide and that would allow swimming in the reef, but you could check around. Go out to Pigeon Point and ask for Mr. Powers. He has a small boat catering to tourists, and is very adaptable. |
